China International Contractors Association (CHINCA hereinafter) officially announced its 2020 credit appraisals recently and POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation Limited (POWERCHINA Chengdu hereinafter) was awarded the highest AAA credit rating among engineering enterprises engaged in foreign contracts. 

The credit rating among engineering enterprises with foreign contracts is a professional credit evaluation by CHINCA and commissioned by China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (SINOSURE hereinafter) that is under the joined leadership of relevant national ministries and commissions of Chinese government to appraise the comprehensive quality, financial status, credit record, project implementation ability etc. of the candidate enterprises, therefore has a high authority.

POWERCHINA Chengdu has accelerated its internationalization in recent years with the design of SOUBRE Hydropower Project (HPP), the largest hydropower project in Cote d'Ivoire, along with a number of large joint ventures in EPC  contracts, including Mambilla HPP in Nigeria, Dasherkandi Sewage Treatment Plant Project in Bangladesh in South Asia, etc., which have made Chinese technology and progamme serve better for the Belt and Road Initiative, and also brought in great opportunities and a boarder historical stage for POWERCHINA Chengdu.
