Jade rat faded away in the fall, golden bull jumped in by the spring. At the moment of lunar New Year’s Day, we would like to greet the entire cadres who has fought gallantly with a heart of the entire world in the past year， thank everyone who has worked on the post during the holidays, wish the best to each member of the retired and families of the employees, and express our heartfelt appreciation to all people who cared about and supported the development of POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation Limited (POWERCHINA Chengdu hereinafter). 

In 2020, POWERCHINA Chengdu encountered challenges that were unprecedented but we fought arduously and ended up with encouraging achievements. Facing brutal impacts of the COVID pandemic, harsh and complex situations domestic and abroad, tough and demanding tasks of reform and development, members of POWERCHINA Chengdu marched forward under pressure, determined to forge ahead to be the best, and demonstrated courage at critical moments, therefore achieved new breakthroughs in advanced reform, reached new levels in transformation and expansion, and made new improvements in quality and efficiency in the corporation.  

In 2020, POWERCHINA implemented progressively its customary plan of “the second business innovation” and promoted further its integrated strategy of “the 1234” so as to focus on corporate reform and development while the same time on prevention and containment of pandemic, therefore achieved breakthroughs in operating income, total profit, amount of newly signed contracts, and improved corporate business influences. 

In 2020, POWERCHINA Chengdu moved forward persistently to let its dream reach far by focusing on the goal of a quality and efficient international engineering corporation, and the establishment of the Research Institute of Urban Planning and Design and POWERCHINA Dayunhe Development Co., Ltd have shaped the market deployment of “three mutually augmented pillars” in Sichuan, Chongqing and Tibet, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as the Yangtze River Delta.  

Everything happened has become a prologue. In the new year, new dreams require more actions with greater responsibilities. Let us unite tightly around the Party Central Committee with Jinping Xi at the realm, and continue to make progresses under Jinping Xi’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, step on the new development stage, implement new development concept, grow political ability, strategic vision, and professional view of the new development plan, and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements!
