In the afternoon of February 7th, 2021, right before spring festival, Mr. He Huang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation Limited (POWERCHINA Chengdu hereinafter) visited and offered genuine holiday wishes to the retired cadres and/or former employees including Mr. Peibo Yang and Mr. Dunyu Hu. 

Mr. Huang brought the concerns of the Sichuan Provincial Government and Party Committee, conveyed greetings of the POWERCHINA Group, and chatted cordially with the retirees while learned about their current living statuses. He also briefly reported the achievements in 2020 and explained the environment, strategy, and expectations for 2021 during the first year of the “14th Five Year Plan” and sought feedbacks from the retirees.    

Mr. Huang asserted that last year POWERCHINA Chengdu made new victories and new progresses while facing grave difficulties, will make better careers inherited from the retirees who have fought all their lives, and continue to contribute the nation with wisdoms and abilities in the development of giant and important hydropower projects, renewable, and municipal renovations.  

Mr. Huang acknowledged that the growth of POWERCHINA Chengdu is inseparable from the struggles and selfless contributions of the retirees, the unforgettable pioneers and explorers, and their benefits in retirement and medical care shall never be compromised even after they have been transferred to their local residences. He hopes that POWERCHINA Chengdu will continue to gather the care and support from the retirees.
