Recently, POWERCHINA Chengdu won the tender of the world's largest water-photovoltaic complementary power plant leading section "the water-photovoltaic complementary photovoltaic power plant design and construction general contracting section Ⅰ of the water-photovoltaic herding complementary photovoltaic power plant of Lianghekou Hydropower Station Phase I Project", which has positive significance for the company's expansion in water-photovoltaic complementary business.
The project is located in the western part of Yajiang County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 4,000 to 4,600 meters. The total scale of the project is 1,000 MW, including 312 PV arrays, using monocrystalline silicon double-sided cell modules for power generation. After the completion of the project, it can provide 2 billion kilowatts of clean electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving 600,000 tons of standard coal and reducing 1.6 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will help to achieve the goal of "double carbon" and build a "green, low-carbon, safe and efficient" modern energy system. It has a demonstration and leading role.
During the project bidding stage, the company coordinated the deployment, the bidding team cooperated fully, overcame the difficulties of tight schedule, heavy tasks and difficult coordination, and worked overnight in a non-air-conditioned environment under the scorching heat of 40 degrees, carefully compiled and checked the bidding documents, and finally stood out from many bidding units and won the favor of the bidders. The success of the project strengthens the company's comprehensive market competitiveness in the water-light complementary business, and lays a solid foundation for the company to continue to obtain water-light complementary projects in the future.
