Recently, PowerChina Chengdu(hereinafter referred to as the Company) signed a geological exploration and feasibility study contract of the Abdiliyah photovoltaic project in Kuwait, which marks the Company's first project in Kuwait. The scope of the contract work includes the preparation of feasibility study report, project topographic mapping and geological survey, environmental impact assessment, grid access assessment and other related supporting reports. The signing of this project is another example of the Company's overseas business strategy of "planning first, technology leading". In the next step, the Company will set up an excellent team to complete the project performance with high quality, enhance the Company's influence in the new energy industry in the Middle East, and lay a solid foundation for obtaining follow-up project EPC contracts and other similar project opportunities through secondary operation, and further expand the new energy market in the Middle East. The planned installed capacity of the project is about 200 megawatts, the power buyer is the Kuwait Hydropower Renewable Energy Department, and the project owner is the Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. The project is a priority project in the framework of renewable energy cooperation between the Chinese and Kuwaiti government departments, which is of great strategic significance.
