Recently, Mr. He Huang, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation, Ltd. (POWERCHINA Chengdu hereinafter) met with Mr. Xiaohong Bi, the Party Secretary and President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Co. Ltd. in Tibet Autonomous Region (ICBC Tibet herein after) along with his associates, and both parties exchanged means to advance bilateral cooperation. The meeting was presided by Mr. Yuangang Zhang, the Accounting General of POWERCHINA Chengdu with the presentence of Mr. Zhiwei Yu, the Deputy President of ICBC Tibet.

Mr. Zhang expressed welcome of Bi’s visit and briefly reviewed the status of POWERCHINA Chengdu in business transformation, marketing allocations, and projects abroad. He hoped that ICBC Tibet continues its attention on and provide more assistance to aid the development of POWERCHINA Chengdu because the development is inseparable from the support and participation of financial institutes.

Mr. Bi also briefly introduced the basic status of ICBC Tibet and its overall business volume, deposit and loan, staffing, etc. He stated that POWERCHINA Chengdu possessed obvious strengths and advantages in fields of water, hydropower, infrastructure, renewable, and environment, etc. and hoped to improve communications and broaden cooperation with POWERCHINA Chengdu in order to make contributions together to Tibetan economic and social development.

Mr. Huang talked about the history and development of POWERCHINA Chengdu, recalled profound emotional ties to Tibetan, and reviewed the revenues, investment capabilities, strategy, and relevant projects in Tibet etc. He believes that POWERCHINA Chengdu is at a critical moment in its business transformation and Tibet is an important market to POWERCHINA Chengdu, so he hopes ICBC Tibet to build up diversified portfolios providing with financial services and assisting POWERCHINA Chengdu to execute steadily its various projects in Tibet so as to make greater contributions to the high-quality development of Tibet.

Corporate leaders of ICBC Tibet and that of Department of Corporate Finance and Investment at POWERCHINA Chengdu attended the meeting.
