POWERCHINA Chengdu has been persistent on the development strategy of international first, and follows closely with China "one-belt-one-road" initiative, strives hard to build the capability in "going abroad" with establishments of 21 agencies abroad or representative offices including share holding of KAZHYDRO CO., LTD., businesses covering energy plan, water conservancy and hydropower, renewable energy, infrastructure, water utility, real estate, transmission, procurements, etc. in more than 60 countries and regions of the world, accumulated extensive experiences in investigation, design, construction, and general contracts of international projects. Construction of Phu Lac wind farm was praised as the "model engineering" by Renaissance Bank, a German investor of the project. Cienfuegos solar plant, a Chinese aid project to Cuba, has become the symbol of friendship between the two countries.
