On July 8, 2021, engineering projects at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport supervised by POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation, Ltd (POWERCHINA Chengdu hereinafter) got passed the completion acceptance successfully under the witness of representatives from project participating companies including POWERCHINA Chengdu, Sichuan Airports Group, Construction HQ of Tianfu Airport, and Tianfu Branch Company.

The supervision projects that POWERCHINA Chengdu took on were a roofing project at GTC north and a landscape project in the front of the airport, including mainly the water cascading and landscaping at the entrance as well as adjacent engineering work, water supply and drainage, irrigational sprinklers, and lightings etc.. During the construction, Ertan International Supervision Department of Tianfu International Airport Project got unanimous praises from participant companies seeing that they paid special attention at inspection and certification of veiled engineering, supervised the entire process of the seedlings’ transplant by strictly following the critical quality control standards and construction methods, took measures in sampling and testing of the major materials used, such as primary fertilizers, planting soils, and PVC pipes, etc. and prevented untested or unqualified from being used therefore ensured the engineering quality under the control. 

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is the largest civil aviation transportation hub planned and constructed during“13th Five Year Plan”, the fourth State-level international aviation hub, and one of the highest ranking aviation hubs on the the Silk Road Economic Belt with a throughput capacity of 40 million passengers, 700 thousand tons of cargos and mails, and 320 thousand aircrafts taking off and landing.
