Recently, the 2023 Quality Project (Product) Award of POWERCHINA was announced. Three projects built by the Company, namely, Bangladesh Dasher Gandhi Sewage Treatment Plant Project, Kazakhstan Sherek 60MW Wind Power Project and Guangyuan Sanjiang New Area Infrastructure Construction Project-Baolun Ring Road Project (South Line), won the Quality Engineering Award of Power Construction Group.

The Dasher Gandhi Sewage Treatment Plant is located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It is a key project of the Belt and Road Initiative witnessed by President Xi Jinping to sign the loan agreement. It is also the largest sewage treatment and sludge treatment project built at the same time and in the same place in South Asia. The project started in August 2017 and the Owner will issue the acceptance certificate in March 2022. The Sherek 60MW wind power project is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which is a key production capacity cooperation project between China and Kazakhstan and the first renewable energy project invested and developed by the Group in Central Asia. The total installed capacity of the project is 60 MW. It will be commenced on June 15, 2019 and handed over to the Owner on July 21, 2022 for operation. Baolun Ring Road Project (South Line) is located in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and is one of the subprojects of Infrastructure Construction Project of Sanjiang New Area, Guangyuan City. The construction content mainly includes roads, bridges, tunnels, integrated pipe network, greening, traffic and lighting works. 

The project will commence on July 1, 2019 and be completed on September 29, 2021.

The three projects belong to international and domestic projects, involving sewage treatment, wind power and municipal road works, and are a side shadow of the Company's response to the Group's strategy of "water energy sand city number" and the big goal of "creating high-quality projects and establishing enterprise brands". It is also a powerful witness that each project team is facing many difficult problems, giving full play to the company's leading advantages in design, establishing and perfecting the quality management system, realizing the deep integration of design, procurement and construction, and carrying out the project to create excellence.

The winning of the above three projects in the 103 projects participated by the Group this year is a full affirmation of the technical strength and management ability of the Company and a high expectation for the future development of the Company.
