Based on the highway tunnel engineering designed by the Company, the Advanced Pre-support and New Technology for Disease Control Series of Tunnel Engineering takes all kinds of unfavorable geology and tunnel diseases as the research object, according to the principles of safety, environmental protection and energy saving, and under the idea of effective transformation and utilization of surrounding rock, from the aspects of slope support and safe tunnel formation technology of unfavorable geological portal, initial support technology of differential tunnel in special rock, initial support technology of tunnel in weak and broken surrounding rock, the construction technology of side span karst cave tunnel, tunnel inverted arch non-excavation arch technology, tunnel deformation and reinforcement technology, tunnel collapse treatment technology, large-span collapse cube tunnel excavation method and other eight aspects have been innovated and improved. The results of the series of innovative technologies for prevention and treatment of tunnel engineering diseases have been formed, which have solved many engineering diseases such as tunnel deformation, collapse, fracture zone, water burst, karst and so on.

In recent years, this technology has successfully solved the tunnel engineering problems in many large-scale engineering projects, such as Guizhou Kaihuan Expressway North Section Project, Lianghekou Hydropower Station Highway Project, Xizang Paimo Highway Project, and has been highly praised and recognized by the owner and all parties involved in the construction, and has achieved good social and significant economic benefits.
