On April 23rd, with the completion of the assembly and lifting of the last set of wind turbine blades, the EPC project of Koba Wind Power in Bangladesh undertaken by our company successfully completed the lifting work of all wind turbines, achieving a key milestone in the project and marking a significant phased achievement in the construction of wind energy projects in Bangladesh. Since the commencement of the project, our project team has coordinated various subcontractors, maintained close communication with key stakeholders such as the project owner, and taken targeted measures based on local conditions to fully promote project delivery, despite facing challenges such as slow and lengthy land acquisition and handover. From late 2021 to 2022, after the gradual handover of land for the booster station, southern wind farm, and transmission lines, our project team actively organized and coordinated resources, successfully achieving grid-connected power generation for 10 wind turbines in the southern wind farm in May 2023. After the basic completion of the southern wind farm, land acquisition for the northern wind farm began to be gradually handed over in 2023. Our project team and the project owner jointly promoted the land acquisition and construction-related work for the northern wind farm. In early March 2024, the project completed grid-connected power generation for 10 wind turbines in the northern area, achieving commercial operation that meets PPA requirements. Recently, the project has also completed all wind turbine lifting work required by the contract, laying a solid foundation for the final handover of the project. As the first large-scale centralized wind power project in Bangladesh, this project has received high attention from both China and Bangladesh. Its successful completion is a milestone in the development and construction of wind energy new energy in Bangladesh, and also has strategic significance for our company to vigorously promote the development of new energy in Bangladesh. The total installed capacity of the wind farm is 66 megawatts, with 22 wind turbine generators installed, each with a capacity of 3.0 megawatts. After the completion of the project, the annual average power generation will be 144,918,500 kilowatt-hours, which will fully exert its energy-saving and environmental protection functions, provide clean and pollution-free new energy, bring light to the local people, and play an important role in meeting the needs of the transformation and upgrading of the Bangladesh power grid and supporting the high-quality green development of Bangladesh's economy and society. | |||
